So when I start the car and buckle my seatbelt the light on the dash stays on. After half a mile or so I get a seatbelt warning chime every 30 seconds for the next 15 minutes. Now if I buckle up before staring the car, it works exactly how it supposed to. Even if I unbuckle the light comes on and vice versa when I buckle back in. So it does registers the buckle. I tried to bypass the seatbelt wiring by splicing the wires together, but after a while the airbag light came on with the 5-1 code. ... I rebuilt my 8.8 IRS axel with used gears from an earlier model explorer that had an LSD. I replaced the clutch pack after soaking in modifier and made sure to check the pinion depth and backlash. The depth was great, but the pattern wasn't perfect until I had the backlash set to .014 bone head move number one.. maybe. When starting the vehicle it will crank like normal but no ignition and the engine shudders noticeably. Try again in a few hours, starts right up. The weather is getting cooler, but I don't think it's related. 1. From a cold start, it will sometimes struggle to start. I have to try twice or hold the key down an extra second or two to get it to start. When it does start, the temperature gauge starts at about the quarter of the way above cold. 2. I sometimes see the temperature gauge drop from a little under half between Cold and Hot (normal), to a little over a quarter ... Coming off the batter with key off and everything else off we are getting a .6 Amp draw I'm not to familiar with electrical systems yet is this an excessive draw to have when everything is off? 2003 Ford Explorer 4.6L 8 Cyl started stalling at idle, it will start dropping in RPM and then die. If I turn off AC and lights it will keep running at what must be 400-600 RPM. Not seeing a check engine light. Starts right up afterwards. Has anyone seen this before? I've got a 2003 v8 4.6l Ford Explorer with the hanes manual, but I'm unable to find the wiring diagram for the o2 heater circuit. I've got p0135 and p0155 codes, I replaced both sensors, but I'm still having the issue.
