2003 ford escape motor mount diagram. So, much like the title says, I have a 2003 Ford Escape XLT with a stuck liftgate. The rear glass opens, closes, locks, and unlocks just fine. Although, the rear liftgate does not open. It remains stuck shut despite being unlocked and my best efforts to pull it open. Ive heard that the liftgate lock actuator goes bad on these vehicles and think that might be the case, but if that were so, wouldn't the glass not work either? Thank you all for any information! Update: the dealership apparently never plugged the ignition relay back in. So I had it towed back to my house, found the relay unplugged, and it cranked right up. So the issue with the alarm activating in the first place isn't resolved, but I guess I just won't lock the car. But I'm really glad I didn't spend $2,500 just to find out that the relay wasn't plugged in. I bought a used 2003 Ford Escape XLT (200k miles) for my kid who just got his license. I drove it twice before buying, it looked ... I just replaced it, it worked fine for 2 days then quit entirely. Now the blower will only work if I tap it with a hammer and only works on high.
